Nicole Mody has had over ten years of experience in marketing and brand building.


She is the Festival Coordinator for the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival.  

Nicole is also the author/editor of ‘Flavours of Kala Ghoda’ – a book of compiled recipes from her 5 years as curator of the food section at the Festival. The book was conceptualised, written, edited and partly designed by Nicole and released in February 2016.


From an internship in advertising and setting up a dance school, to running her own event management company, to cricket and mainstream events with one of India's top event management companies, Nicole has constantly challenged herself to be future ready. Her career has been largely experience oriented, from ideation to execution in each project. This includes the creative process that lends itself to marketing and advertising strategy.

Nicole is an amateur yogi, semi professional dancer and a self-taught cook. She thoroughly enjoys experimenting with different forms of expression, most importantly food. She is the curator for food at the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival, a section she has helped create and popularize in 2012 with Mumbai’s most loved chefs and restaurateurs teaching a receptive audience how to make their signature dishes. 

She enjoys food, reading, writing, travelling, and spends a large part of her day keeping up to date with the latest trends in food, marketing and holiday destinations.
